» Half of the Christmas lights do not light up?!?I have a spiralight tree sculpture & I bought it last year. Just took it out of the box, set it up & then plugged it in. There is about 12 spirals of lights & the top 3 will not light up. These lights say on the box "If one light goes out, the rest will stay lit". So I have went & tried turning all the lights that wont light & they still would not light up. Should I replace all 30 light bulbs? Fuse? Greetings! Ok, so I built the lightbox via directions I found on this site (http://www.jyoseph.com/extras/archives/2006/02/diy_lightbox.php). The only difference is he's using Sylvania Daylight bulbs, 100 watt and I'm using 100 watt GE Reveal bulbs. But, for some reason, the white balance is all off - no matter what I do. As you guys know, I've been on a hunt for a medium format camera. I had the chance to play with an old Rolleiflex (3.5 Planar I think) a few days ago, and wow, I got the TLR bug. It feels like one of the perfect street photography cameras due to the combination of a waist-level finder and separate viewing lens. I think people take vintage cameras like a Rollei less seriously and don't realize that when you're looking down and fiddling with it you could be taking their picture. I think they think you're trying to figure out how to work the thing! Anyway, I was thinking about getting maybe a 2.8, either Planar or Xenotar, and an average meter to wear around my neck. I used to love shooting in black and white till it became too expensive to process (and I really dont have the time or resources to process myself). Does anyone have any experience using black and white film that can be processed using c41 processing? Does it come out the same as normal B&W film? Are any brands better/worse etc? I don't know how this has been overlooked for so long, but it should be a top priority to get a setting for avatar thumbnails. Having the size calculated upon uploaded is preposterous and does not follow any uniform. When a user posts without a signature, and then creates one later, I want it to automatically show the signatures on their old posts as well. But is there a way to have that on every single post automatically without having to do either of those? I have an assignment based on figuring out depletion, depreciation, amortization and indirect costs. Then there's a question asking, what is the net income for 2008? To figure this out do I take the Revenue and subtract all depletion, depreciation, amortization expenses and indirect costs OR do I just subract the indirect costs. OR What. MAN I hate this stuff. Typically if it is just asking for your net income for 2008 then they want to know just your income minus taxes (no depletion, depreciation, etc.) and then a few lines down from that they would subtract the rest out. I have a few album folders containing an *.MP3 file and a *.CUE file. These folders usually contain a full tracklist with each individual song selectable but since around T3CH build 15/10/07 these folders are empty. Hi All, First post on this forum for me and I have the same old question ;) Im new to photography and am looking at saving for a nice SLR. I'd like to stick with either Nikon or Canon (leaning more towards Nikon ut again not so important). Ideally I'd like my first camera to be the Nikon D80 but im finding it hard to justify spending the extra bit of $$ for my first body. My main questions is, how long will a Canon 400D or Nikon D40x keep me happy before I feel the need to upgrade? Or should I wait a bit longer and go for the D80 as my first body?
